Florida shocked by LSU, 33-29

The Florida Gators were shocked by yet another crazy LSU comeback in the final seconds, falling 33-29.

Head coach Urban Meyer watched in horror as Les Miles’ bunch pulled out another incredible last-second victory.

Despite the crazy finish, Meyer has no one to blame other than a defense that couldn’t slow down LSU’s anemic offensive attack.

The Tigers were coming off a last-second victory over Tennessee in which they scored just 16 points. (Read More…)

Florida no match for Alabama, 31-6

The Florida Gators hung around for a couple of quarters before falling to the Alabama Crimson Tide, 31-6.

Florida trailed just 3-0 after the first quarter and had to feel good about things, but gave up 21 more points before halftime.

The Gators’ defense isn’t that far away from competing with Alabama, but their offense remains a work in progress.

The loss goes down as the second-most lopsided for Florida during head coach Urban Meyer’s tenure. (Read More…)
