Meyer had esophageal spasms
Florida Gators head coach Urban Meyer was dealing with esophageal spasms that caused him to step away from the job.
Meyer said he is now taking medication for the condition and is hopeful that the chest pain is a thing of the past.
He said that the key was finding out what was going onĀ in there and now life is a little bit better for him.
The coach said he felt like he had a toothache in his chest every morning when he woke up for the past three years.
The Gators are certainly happy that Meyer’s condition isn’t too serious and he is healthy going forward.
